Brr Brr Patapim is a proboscis monkey fused with a tree — a walking forest with an enormous nose and even more enormous feet. The name means nothing: “brr brr” is a sound, “patapim” is a sound. It became popular on TikTok and YouTube in late March 2025.

The creator

Unusually for this trend, Brr Brr Patapim has a traceable author: TikTok user @ofuscabreno, who also created Boneca Ambalabu (the frog-tyre hybrid) — meaning one creator seeded characters in both the Italian and Indonesian branches of the brainrot family tree.

The design follows the format’s core rule: take an animal, fuse it with an object, give it feet. Feet are weirdly central to Italian brainrot. Nobody knows why. The AI image models kept producing unsettling human feet on animals, and the community simply decided that was the aesthetic.
