Bombardiro Crocodilo

Bombardiro Crocodilo is a crocodile fused with a military bomber plane — the closest thing Italian brainrot has to a villain. The name is mock-Italian for “bomber crocodile” (bombardiere + coccodrillo). It appeared in mid-February 2025 and became the trend’s second pillar.

The character

Visually: a bomber aircraft with a crocodile’s head, usually mid-raid. In the fan-built mythology that TikTok assembled around these creatures, Bombardiro is cast as the antagonist — routinely pitted against Tung Tung Tung Sahur or Tralalero Tralalà in fan-made battles. He also spawned a whole militarised family, most notably Bombombini Gusini, a goose with jet wings.

The part that isn’t funny

This one carries a genuine, documented controversy, and we’re not going to file it off. The original Italian narration describes the character as a flying alligator that bombs children in Gaza and Palestine, states that it does not believe in Allah, and says it loves bombs. We will not reproduce the full text.

It has been widely criticised for making light of the Gaza conflict, and for normalising casual cruelty and desensitisation — the concern being that millions of children are cheerfully chanting the name of a character whose source audio jokes about killing children. Some Muslim users have objected to this trend on those grounds.

Here is our position, plainly: the criticism is legitimate and worth knowing. The visual character has since been laundered through thousands of harmless kid-made videos, plush toys and Roblox games where none of that text appears — so most people repeating the name have never heard the original. That’s a reason to be informed, not to panic. But if you were going to ban one of these creatures in your house, this is the one you’d have grounds for.
